Customer reflections on the event

David Maeso

David Maeso, Saica Group,
Spain

It is valuable to see what the other companies are doing, especially how they are solving their challenges and what their plans are for tomorrow. The future aspect is extremely important: to find out how the changing world will impact on our business, what it will require from us, and why.

Jari T

Jari Taavitsainen, UPM,
Finland

The TIPS as such is a little outside my own area of responsibility but digitalization is one of the key themes in the industry, and it was also highlighted in the event program which is good. Networking is of course extremely important, and it is also interesting to hear how the competitors have solved their business challenges. S/4HANA could have been a bigger topic in the event as it is an extremely hot issue in the pulp & paper industry. (S/4HANA was one of the workshop topics).

Key take away from 2018 attendees

The keynote from Luis Vives was very interesting, and also Mayr - Melnhof “Buy board on-line” digital solution, as well as LEIPA’s “Investing venture capital for new ideas and startups in the paper industry”

Ingvar

Ingvar Persson | Holmen AB, Sweden

For me the best outcome is getting new ideas and networking with my colleagues working in the same industry. It is also important to hear how other companies have solved their challenges and maybe utilize these solutions in our own company.
